Any 4-H or FFA member in Laramie County age 16 to 21 is eligible to apply for an ambassador position. The ambassadors serve for one year and must be committed to promoting the Fair and its activities on radio, TV, parades and other public appearances. They will be expected to attend all events scheduled for them as well as assist during the week of Fair by making appearances at shows and being the public face of Laramie County Fair. Knowledge of the County Fair is a must.
A $1000 college scholarship and official dress will be awarded to each ambassador selected.
If you have been a Fair participant, and feel this is for you, please email or mail a 500 word essay about your activities, school, family, community service, and your involvement in the Fair to the Fair Office by January 13th, 2012. Interviews will follow after essays have been reviewed.
