Elizabeth Barbour

Elizabeth Barbour

“My name is Elizabeth Barbour and I was born and raised in Cheyenne. My parents are Jon and Celine Barbour and I have a little sister. I’m currently a senior at Cheyenne Central High School where I am a member of the High Plains FFA chapter and the track team where I throw shot put and discus. Outside of school, I participate in 4-H where I shoot trap and have showed lambs and hogs and now steers. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, camping and anything outside! Next year I will attend Chadron State College where I will major in Range Livestock Management. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Laramie County Fair Ambassador and can’t wait for a great year!”

I have been involved within many school extracurricular activities such as FFA, where I have served on the officer team for two years, a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), National Honor Society, and a four year varsity tennis player. I work at one of the local feed stores in town. I have volunteered with many local organizations as well as traveling to Tijuana, Mexico on a home building team. I plan to attend the University of Wyoming majoring in Agricultural Business and Management. I am very excited to serve the fair and Laramie County as one of the 2017 Ambassadors.”

Grace Withers

Grace Withers

“My name is Grace Withers and I am a senior at East High School. Throughout my high school career I have participated in FFA, track, and cheerleading. Currently I am a Vice President of the Frontier FFA Chapter. After high school I hope to continue to show at the Laramie County Fair. In addition I plan to continue my agricultural journey to the University of Wyoming this coming fall. My agriculture journey started in 2011 with 4-H static exhibits but grew quickly into showing in both FFA and 4-H with various static exhibits, market swine, and poultry. As a Fair Ambassador I hope to greatly increase my knowledge of working with a team and helping support the Laramie County Fair in every way possible.”
