Where are the Fair events located?

Archer Fairgrounds Arenas:
July 8 – Ranch Rodeo - 1:00pm
July 31 – August 2 - 4H & FFA Horse Show - 8:00am
August 3 - Open Horse Show - 8:00am

Archer Fairgrounds K Building:
Poultry Show - July 31 & August 1 - 9:00am

Archer Fairgrounds M Building:
August 3rd Only:
4H Dog Show - 8:00am
Open Dog Show - 4:00pm

Cheyenne East High School
August 4th Only:
4H Judging - Fabric & Fashion, Food & Nutrition - 9:00am

Where can I get a list of daily events?

What does it cost to attend the Fair?

The Fair is free. We do not charge a fee to park or to enjoy the free family entertainment.
There are merchandise and food vendors available to purchase items and meals from.
Some evening events do charge Gate Admission: Truck & Tractor Pull, Rubber Check Race, & Demolition Derby

Can I bring my dog to the Fair?

The pet policy is according to City Ordinance No. 1756 that all dogs must be kept on a leash while on public property.
No dogs are allowed in the barns or the Exhibit Hall. This includes puppies and small breed dogs.
Dogs are allowed in designated areas.

Where is the ATM located on the Fairgrounds?

There is one ATM located on the Fairgrounds in the Exhibit Hall Cafeteria.

Is there transportation from one end of the park to the other?

We provide a FREE tractor wagon ride from one end of the park to the other. It will pick up at the West end of the Beef Barn and drop you off right at the Midway! See event map for detailed tractor route.

Where do I find medical attention at the Fair?

There are First Aid Kits located in each of the livestock barns, in the exhibit hall, and at the Fair Office. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.

Is there handicap parking available?

Yes. There is handicap parking available at the Exhibit Hall for the South end of the park and in front of the Swine Barn on the North end of the park.

Exhibitor Questions

When do my entries have to be turned in?

All entries are due June 30th of the current Fair year.

I want to enter online but I'm not sure how to do it. Can someone help me?

The Fair office staff is available Monday-Friday 8-12 and 1-4 to assist with online and paper entries. We have printed copies of the Fair Book, too!

Can I still enter on a paper entry form?

Yes, entry forms are on our website to print and available at the Fair office.

Where can I get a Fairbook?

The Fairbook is only online. You can view and/or print the book.

Vendor Questions

Do I need insurance to be a vendor?

Yes, all vendors are required to have insurance and provide proof when submitting application, vendor fee, and deposit.

Can I be a vendor if I am unable to have my booth open for the duration of the Fair?

Daily vendor spaces are available at $25.00 per day. Daily vendors are required to be open and operational the daily hours. If the vendors fail to do so, they will not be refunded the deposit.
